HPE’s latest innovations in AI and hybrid cloud

Hewlett Packard Enterprise shared some great news at HPE Discover 2023 that we want to be sure you heard about. Below are highlights of the announcements, which focus on HPE’s latest innovations in artificial intelligence (AI) and hybrid cloud.

HPE unveils AI cloud for large language models

• HPE enters the AI cloud market with the introduction of HPE GreenLake for Large Language Models (LLMs) for any enterprise to privately train, tune, and deploy large-scale AI through an on-demand, multi-tenant supercomputing cloud service.
• This new offering is the first in a series of industry and domain-specific AI applications with future support planned for climate modeling, healthcare and life sciences, financial services, manufacturing, and transportation.
• HPE GreenLake for LLMs will run on accessible, world-leading supercomputers and AI software powered by nearly 100% renewable energy.¹

HPE advances hybrid cloud leadership with HPE GreenLake platform innovation, new cloud services, and expanded private cloud portfolio and partner ecosystem

• HPE has closed the OpsRamp acquisition, and the solution is now available as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering on the HPE GreenLake platform, providing you with AI-driven operations for multi-vendor, multi-cloud IT environments.
• HPE GreenLake expands network-as-a-service (NaaS) portfolio, adds SaaS offerings for backup and machine learning, and delivers additional HPE SaaS offerings on the AWS Marketplace.
• HPE expands the HPE GreenLake private cloud portfolio with new enhancements to HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise to address edge use cases and provide container support for Red Hat^® OpenShift^® Container Platform, and unveils HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Business Edition, a new offering that allows you to spin up virtual machines across hybrid clouds on demand.
• HPE and VMware build on their longstanding partnership by introducing an expansion of HPE GreenLake for VMware Cloud Foundation pay-per-use solution, with pre-configured and tested HPE cloud modules, optimized for VMware Cloud Foundation.
• HPE and Equinix announce an expanded partnership to pre-provision HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise and HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Business Edition at Equinix data centers around the world, giving you rapid access to a broad range of private cloud offerings, for greater speed, agility, flexibility, and choice in your hybrid cloud strategy.

HPE extends private cloud portfolio at Equinix data centers to give customers more choice and fast access to hybrid cloud

• HPE GreenLake private cloud portfolio will be available as pre-provisioned services to help you rapidly build and grow your private cloud.
• HPE GreenLake private cloud at Equinix IBX^® data centers gives you additional choice, flexibility, and balance in building your hybrid cloud strategy.

HPE expands its relationship with AWS to simplify hybrid cloud transformation for enterprises

• HPE works with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver a consistent, unified hybrid cloud experience to you.
• Expanded HPE services with AWS address complete lifecycle of hybrid cloud strategy from development to application modernization to operations.
