Möbius Partners, a computer reseller (VAR) for HP and Sun Microsystems which specializes in enterprise-level solutions, today announced it was named one of America’s fastest-growing new businesses by Entrepreneur magazine. Eight Texas-based companies made the list, but Möbius Partners was the lone representative from San Antonio.
Entrepreneur’s 11th Annual Hot 100 list of fastest-growing new businesses was compiled with assistance from PricewaterhouseCoopers. Drawing on multiple data sources, PricewaterhouseCoopers provided Entrepreneur with an initial list of fast-growing companies. Entrepreneur mailed each company a questionnaire, which the entrepreneurs completed and submitted with their current financial statements. Each company’s sales growth was measured from the date of inception, creating a listing of businesses in growth order.
For a business to be considered for the list, it must meet the following criteria: The business must have been founded no earlier than 2000; the founder must be actively involved in daily operations; annual 2004 sales must have exceeded $1 million; and the company must have fewer than 1,000 employees.
"The entire Möbius Partners team has contributed to our fast growth and ongoing success. This award is not the result of one employee or one client, it is truly a team effort," said Jay Uribe, co-founder of Möbius Partners. "Being recognized for our success by a nationally renowned organization like Entrepreneur is an incredible honor."
Based in San Antonio, Texas, with a regional office in Dallas, Möbius Partners is a computer reseller (VAR) that specializes in enterprise computing solutions. Its customers are comprised of many Fortune 1000.
